Kokedama is a traditional bonsai discipline. Japanese for “moss ball,” kokedama is a fascinating way of planting within a sphere of moss. Incredibly unique, they can be placed in a shallow dish or suspended from a string.
Our 2 hour Kokedama Workshop involves:
** all the materials needed to make one kokedama bonsai (plants, moss, soil, twine, and tools)
**a presentation of how to wrap the roots of your plant in a suspended moss ball
**guidance in making your own kokedama bonsai
**guidance in long-term care of kokedama and ways to display them for maximum effect
